post tournament - no rest for the wicked

Post tournament day.... lots of yoga and stretching. People may think tat once you have had a tournament playing over 6 matches you should have a day off but no. If you want to make it in the world of tennis, no days off are rarely allowed. Today, reviewed where the players went wrong and what they need to improve on. This meant serves for Jaedan and backhands for Thomas for 3 hours. Quickly after this speed and agility working on legs. By doing speed and agility with Vince (a trainer) he shows you tennis specific exercises which for example helps you with footwork, jumping up for a serve of power on your forehand. All of which are very important. This is something I would 100% need to consider if i either manage a player myself or open an academy. After lunch academy started, windy conditions so as you can see from the brief videos below we tried to get the players used to playing in different conditions as you never know what you are going to get. This is something which yes I already knew but would have never have thought of actually implementing with my players.
